The branding of 10 distinct Kerala dishes under the initiative ‘Kerala Menu: Unlimited’ was officially launched by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan during the Keraleeyam 2023 event at a food stall located in Suryakanthi. These dishes, including Ramasheri Idli, Porotta and Beef, Boli and Payasam, Kappa and Meen Curry, Kuttanadan pearlspot Boiled, Thalassery Biryani, Mulayari Payasam, Vanasundari Chicken, Puttum Kadalayum, and Karkataka Kanji, are being introduced as hallmark culinary representations from Kerala to the global dining spectrum.
The primary objective of this branding initiative is to showcase and promote the rich and healthy food culture of Kerala, encapsulating the unique essence of Keralaness, and highlight the warm hospitality associated with Malayali traditions. Notable figures present during the inauguration included Food and Civil Supplies Minister G.R. Anil, Food Fair Chairman A. A. Rahim MP, O.S. Ambika MLA, as well as media committee chairman RS Babu, among others.
